A lovely collection of poetry written by members of the mental health community.
Such Is My Fortune was a project in collaboration with local charity Borderline Arts who help people with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) to cope with their diagnosis through the medium of art.
The collaboration came about as a project for the MA Creative Writing at the University of Derby. The original premise was ’50 love poems written in 50 lines or less’. Borderline Arts were interested in the project to help bring understanding and a ‘slice of life’ in the poetry of people with mental health conditions, including BPD.
